Kiss the Camera bio picture
  • Greetings, from Christine!

Hi & thanks for visiting my site!
I launched Kiss the Camera in 2006 after a family-friend asked me to photograph her wedding. The joy I experienced capturing the love and the laughter of her special day convinced me I had found my calling.

Wedding Photography is so much more than a job to me. It is a privilege every time my camera and I are welcomed into your life.

Thanks for letting me share my work with you,
    Christine Valenzuela

Karla & Lucio’s Engagement Session at the Desert Botanical Gardens

Though it was quite hot when we met up in the evening, Karla & Lucio braved the heat gracefully.  I had a wonderful time wandering through the Desert Botanical Gardens and photographing them in different locations and in different outfits.  Karla even changed her jewelry and hair for the outfit changes!

They both look quite stunning.  I’m looking forward to their wedding in just a few weeks!

Vicky & Chris’s Wedding

From the moment I met Vicky & Chris, I knew they were going to be a lot of fun to work with.  Chris was cracking jokes while Vicky was trying to get him to be serious and focus on the task at hand.  He did so for a few moments and then was back to being silly. :)

We had a lot of fun at both their engagement session and wedding day.  Here are the wedding day highlights:

Meet me on Saturday, August 14 at Thee Wedding Warehouse

On Saturday, August 14th I’ll be at Thee Wedding Warehouse from 11am-1pm showcasing a selection of my wedding albums, parent albums and many other products.  This is a fun and informal opportunity to meet with me.  I’ll be happy to answer any questions about myself and wedding photography.  Also, it’s a good excuse to check out Thee Wedding Warehouse if you haven’t had a chance.  They have a ton of wonderful products that are normally only available online and through catalogs.  Hope to see you there!

Brianna & Wyck’s Engagement Session at Dreamy Draw in Phoenix, AZ

When Brianna and Wyck wanted to do their engagement session a few weeks ago, I tried to find the right way to break it to them that the best time would be 6am.  Most of the time it takes a lot of convincing to get my brides and groom’s to get up and meet me shortly after sunrise.:)

This was not the case with Brianna and Wyck.  Both were more than happy to get up early and I’m so glad we did.  We got some amazing shots.  At the last minute, they decided to bring along their wonderful dog Moose.  I’m sure glad they did.  Though he was a bit challenging at times as he was quite the explorer and Wyck had to run after him, it was a joy to meet him and photograph the three of them together.

Brianna & Wyck, thanks again for a fun morning!  I can’t wait to photograph your wedding in March at the Wigwam!

Summer School for Brides

This Saturday, July 17th, I’m excited to speak about a topic very dear to me: Wedding Photography from a Recent Bride’s Point of View.

As you may know, last month I got married in Hawaii. Being a bride at a wedding, as opposed to the photographer, gave me a whole new insight that I’m looking forward to sharing with future brides.

My speech will take place at 12:30pm at Thee Wedding Warehouse in Goodyear, AZ.
