It’s always such a treat when I get to take photos of friends’ children. Tiffany is a wonderful cake designer and baker (Tiffanys Cakes and More) and I was honored when she asked me to photograph her two children, Carly and Max. I had a great time photographing them and watching the interaction between the two of them. They love each other so much and have so much fun together.

I’m always honored when people from my hometown ask me to photograph them. Melissa and I went to high school together and I was very excited to photograph her and her family. She wanted to commemorate Liv’s first year and what better way than with a photo session.

Jessica’s Maternity Session in Scottsdale, AZ

I hadn’t met Jessica before our session, but we instantly connected. She’s such a kind person and I knew we’d have a great time when she came walking up with a suitcase of goodies. I absolutely love when clients bring props and Jessica brought a few perfect items, including her first pair of tennis shoes as a child! This is Jessica’s third child and she really wanted to get some maternity shots! We had a blast photographing in Scottsdale and I hope to meet her other children and family for another session soon!

Brittany & Manny’s Maternity Session

It’s always such a treat when I get to use my talents to document amazing moments in the lives of my friends and family. This was just the case with Brittany and Manny. Manny is a good fellow wedding vendor friend (he’s the owner of Push Play Entertainment, a wonderful DJ company), and I couldn’t wait to document his first child.

Stephanie & Casey’s Maternity Session at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, AZ

I was extremely excited when Stephanie called me to let me know she was pregnant and wanted to do a maternity session. I photographed Stephanie & Casey’s wedding in April 2009. It’s always such a joy to see clients again, and this was especially true for Stephanie and Casey. I was honored to photograph yet another life milestone for one of my favorite clients!

Stephanie & Casey, it was a pleasure. I can’t wait to meet the little guy in February for our newborn session!

Scottsdale Children Portraits: Sophia & Paul

Sophia & Paul were such great sports as I had them moving all over Scottsdale I was really excited for this session as Naomi is my fiance’s cousin and I’ve always wanted to photograph her beautiful children. They currently live in Chicago and finally we were able to meet up!

I’m thrilled with the images and can’t wait to photograph them again!

Jollineau Family Session

Yes, I know this is long overdue, but I have been a little busy with weddings and I don’t know where the time has gone! I promise to post more often, so check back as I have a few weddings and other events to post in the next few weeks.

I had a great time photographing the Jollineau family. We went to the Desert Botanical Gardens to capture some of the beautiful desert landscape. Enjoy!

Leah Rose Jollineau

We had an impromptu photo session yesterday with my niece Leah. Her mother (my fiance’s sister) and I are very good friends (& can’t wait to be sisters, especially since I don’t have a sister & I couldn’t resist getting some photographs of her beautiful baby girl. I was inspired when I saw Leah & her papa playing together. She loves him so much & since I don’t believe there are many photos of the two of them together, I had the urge to pull out my camera & favorite lens & capture some shots of them together. Needless to say, papa left quickly & it soon turned into a spur of the moment Leah only photo shoot.

Here are my favorites.

Her newest accomplishment: Waving & saying, “Hi!” It is so adorable. It took some time to get this shot, but it was worth every minute.

She is also crawling now & crawling quite well.

Her mama loves this photo of her looking back. I love it as well!

Leah & her papa. They love each other so much. I think he is her favorite person besides her mama & dada.
