Dana & Craig’s Wedding at Cinnabar Hills Golf Club in San Jose, California

There are some weddings you look forward to for months and months and finally, the day arrives! That’s how it was for Dana & Craig’s wedding. After photographing their engagement session in Santa Barbara in February, I couldn’t wait for their wedding.

Their wedding took place on a beautiful August afternoon in San Jose where I’m originally from at the lovely Cinnabar Hills Golf Club. Dana & I went to high school together and I was honored to photograph her special day.

These are my favorites from the day. I had a very hard time narrowing them down as I loved so many.

I love capturing shots like this of the groom. Sometimes all you get is one second to get a great shot.

I love the first look because you get shots like these!

Vicky & Chris’s Wedding

From the moment I met Vicky & Chris, I knew they were going to be a lot of fun to work with. Chris was cracking jokes while Vicky was trying to get him to be serious and focus on the task at hand. He did so for a few moments and then was back to being silly.

Sarah & Jay’s Wedding at Four Seasons Troon in Scottsdale, AZ

I’m back from my Wedding/Honeymoon…and am officially married! I haven’t been happier in a long time. Thanks so much to all of you for being so patient with me as I was away from my office and had limited access to my email. I really appreciate it! I’m looking forward to talking with all of you soon!

And now, a very long overdue post. I’m excited to finally have the chance to post photos from Sarah and Jay’s wedding at the Four Seasons Troon resort in Scottsdale.

I was very honored when Sarah asked me to photograph her wedding. She’s a hairdresser at Sachi salon in Scottsdale and right from the first time I met her we instantly connected. The funniest thing was that I actually found her by using Yelp. She had so many wonderful reviews I just had to try her! I’m so glad I did. Not only is she a great hairstylist, she is such a warm and genuine person.

“Christine at Kiss the Camera was an amazing wedding photographer!! All the way through, she was extremely professional, friendly, on-top of things. The actual day of the wedding she was amazing, she was so pleasant to work with, my whole family mentioned how great she was, and so did my friends! She organized everyone very well and worked quickly (I had a lot of kids in the wedding), and remained very patient and upbeat. She stayed in the background during the dinner and dance reception, capturing SO many great, candid moments. I think that capturing those great candid moments is the true art of photography and I was extremely pleased! We have so many great pictures from the evening, it is really hard to choose which ones to put in the album. I will definitely recommend her; don’t look anywhere else!”

Michelle & Eric’s Wedding at McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale

From the moment I met Michelle and her family, I knew I was going to be a part of a spectacular wedding. Her mother and sisters were a joy to be around and I started looking forward to her wedding after our initial client meeting.

On her wedding day, I arrived at McCormick Ranch just minutes before her arrival. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon and I enjoyed every minute of it, documenting Michelle and Eric’s first day as husband and wife.

Michelle surprised Eric with fireworks. It was fantastic!

Tasha & Corey’s Wedding

Tasha & Corey’s wedding was a beautiful event that I really enjoyed being a part of. You could see their strong love for each other and it made my time with them all the more genuine and wonderful.

The first look is one of my favorite moments. Corey’s face is priceless. You can see how much he loves Tasha.

I have to admit, I even got a little teary eyed.

We headed outside during dinner to get a few nighttime shots. I always love when couples choose to do this.

Tasha & her dad’s dance was perfect. I couldn’t think of a better way to end my post than with her daddy’s tears streaming down his face.

Lindsey & Jake’s Day After Session

Lindsey and Jake chose to do a day after session since they didn’t want to see each other before the wedding and wanted to get married at sunset. I’m so glad they opted to do a day after session! We had a lot of fun and got some great shots at the Arizona Biltmore.

Lindsey & Jake’s Wedding

Lindsey and Jake had a beautiful December wedding. I loved all the little details Lindsey had at her wedding. It really made it unique. They were so wonderful to work with!

Thanks for this wonderful testimonial Lindsey: Christine from Kiss the Camera was great to work with. She responded quickly to any questions and concerns we had by both phone and email, which was important since I wasn’t always able to plan by phone. She was very helpful with planning suggestions, and accomodating to our desires as well. She made everyone feel very comfortable during the planned shots – even my fiance who does NOT like to pose for pictures! She faded into the background during the ceremony and event, to where you forgot she was there, but documented every detail along the way. We would recommend her to anyone!
